Gura Roșiei ( Hungarian Verespataktorka ) is a village in the Romanian municipality of Roșia Montană in Alba County in Transylvania .
The village does not appear on the Josephinian map of Transylvania in the years 1769–1773. In its place, several were stamp mills ( "tamping mills") are shown, which were used to process the ore.
