Gurbachan Singh Randhawa

Gurbachan Singh Randhawa (born June 6, 1939 in Nangli , Punjab ) is a former Indian hurdler , high jumper and decathlete .

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, he was eliminated in the high jump in the qualification and broke off the decathlon after the sixth discipline.

In 1962 he won the decathlon of the Asian Games in Jakarta .

In 1964 he was fifth over 110 m hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics and seventh over 120 yard hurdles at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in 1966 .

In 1961 he was awarded the Arjuna Award .
