Gustaf Göranson

Gustaf Julius Göranson (born June 22, 1886 in Linköping , † June 29, 1959 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish industrialist .

Gustav Julius Göranson was born to Göran Oskar Göransson. He graduated from De Geergymnasiet in 1904 and studied at the Göteborgs Handelsinstitut from 1904 to 1905. After that, he went to the United Kingdom , Germany and France to study language and trade until 1908 . After several short-term jobs, he started to work at JA Enhörnings trävaru AB in Sundsvall and in 1915 became managing director and sales manager. Between 1926 and 1929 he was CEO . From 1930 to 1935 he was the managing director of Munksunds AB. In 1936 he became British Vice Consul in Sundsvall and was then CEO of various subsidiaries of Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget from 1936 to 1947 . After that he was president of Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget. Then he was Chairman of the Board of Directors between 1950 and 1955.

In 1953 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit with a Star .
