Gustav Adolf Thamm
Gustav Adolf Thamm (born July 18, 1859 in Dresden ; † October 21, 1925 there ) was a German landscape painter.
Life
Gustav Adolf Thamm studied from 1879 to 1883 at the Dresden Art Academy with Viktor Paul Mohn . Then he was from 1883 to 1886 student of Theodor Hagen in Weimar . He spent the period from 1891 to 1894 in Italy and became a member of the German Artists' Association in Rome. He also toured France and Switzerland. From 1895 he worked as a teacher at the Dresden Art Academy.
Most of his works are in Dresden art collections.
