Gustav Heinisch

Gustav Heinisch (born December 31, 1892 in Oderfurt, Moravia , today Priwoz , † December 23, 1979 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian mining engineer.

Life

Heinisch joined the Bleiberger Bergwerks-Union (BBU) in 1931 as technical director. The mountain ridge activated the Carinthian mining and led the reconstruction of the BBU after the war, from 1951 as its chairman. Furthermore, Heinisch was president of the music club and president of the general sports association Carinthia .

In December 1972 Heinisch was awarded the gold medal of the city of Klagenfurt. The Ingenieur-Heinisch-Strasse in Klagenfurt was named in his honor.

He was a member of the Glück auf Pribram fraternity .
