Gustav Lustig

Gustav Lustig (born July 5, 1849 in Kardašova Řečice , † April 9, 1913 in Portorož ) was an Austrian chemist .

Life

Gustav Lustig studied at the Polytechnic in Prague and from 1869 worked as a chemist and director in the sugar factories of the Schoeller company .

Gustav Lustig developed various improvements in the field of sugar production and made special contributions to the training of the diffusion process. He was also one of the first promoters of airship travel in Austria.
