Gustav Rühberg

Gustav Rühberg (born March 16, 1875 in Sülte , † October 22, 1932 in Neustrelitz ) was a politician of the DDP in Mecklenburg-Strelitz .

Life

The son of the teacher of the same name, Gustav Rühberg (1844–1928) and his wife Luise (1852–1927), attended the teachers' college in Neukloster from 1895 to 1898 . He then worked as a junior teacher in Teterow until 1902 , then as a teacher at the Neubrandenburg community school .

Gustav Rühberg was an employee of Friedrich Naumann . He was a member of the board of the Mecklenburg Constitutional Association. Rühberg led the state chairmanship of the DDP and was a member of the constitutional and first state parliaments of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Strelitz . From November 1918 to mid-May 1919 he was Landesrat (State Minister) of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in the Stubmann and Krüger governments .

Gustav Rühberg was married and had four children. He died in the Karolinenstift Neustrelitz and was buried on October 25, 1932 in the new cemetery in Neubrandenburg.
