Gustav von der Goltz (District Administrator, 1831)

Gustav Albrecht von der Goltz (born June 23, 1831 in Zützer , † January 26, 1909 in Potsdam ) was a German administrative lawyer and official in Prussia.

Life

Gustav was the son of the same name Gustav von der Goltz , Prussian district administrator and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly , and his wife Cecile, née de Chevenix de Beville (1801-1889).

Goltz studied law at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . With Adalbert Krueger he became active in the Corps Marchia Berlin in 1851 . He also became a district administrator and worked from 1862 to 1878 in the Züllichau-Schwiebus district of the Brandenburg province . As the Prussian Real Privy Councilor, Gustav was appointed Vice President of the Prussian Chamber of Accounts in Potsdam.

He married May 31, 1862 at Cäcilie von Perbandt (* December 26, 1839, † July 31, 1871). The couple had several children:

  • Gustav Adolf Joachim Rüdiger (* December 8, 1865 - November 4, 1946), German Lieutenant General ∞ Hannah von Hase (* July 19, 1873)
  • Hector Adolph Andreas Günther (born August 29, 1869 - † February 16, 1947)
  • Antoinette Cäcilie Elisabeth

After the death of his first wife, he married Agnes Brandt von Lindau (* June 2, 1837, † April 25, 1880).
