Gustavo Andrés Oberman (born March 25, 1985 in Quilmes ) is an Argentine football player .

The striker comes from the youth division of Quilmes AC in his hometown, from where he joined the Argentinos Juniors in 2004 .

In 2005, Oberman became U-20 world champions with Argentina in the Netherlands . The offensive all-rounder then switched to CA River Plate . At River but he could not prevail. After one season and only four appearances, he switched back to the Juniors .

Since January 2007 Oberman has been playing for CD Castellón in the Segunda División , where he was loaned by the Juniors . In summer 2008 he moved to Romania to CFR Cluj . There it was only used five times. In early 2009 he left Cluj and returned to the second Spanish division, where he was signed by FC Córdoba . In mid-2009 he moved back to Argentina to join the Juniors .

According to the Argentine media, Hannover 96 was interested in signing the striker, who goes by the nickname Cachete , in July 2006 . However, the change did not materialize.

Gustavo's father is the former Argentina international Enrique Pablo Oberman . The family's roots are in the Netherlands .
