National team

François played for Haiti in qualifying for the 1970 World Cup . With his country, he made it to the playoff against El Salvador and was also in action at this encounter. Haiti lost the game 1-0, so qualifying for the 1970 World Cup had failed.

In qualifying for the 1974 World Cup , he was back in the squad and played seven games. He scored a goal in the 7-0 home win against Puerto Rico . This time the qualification was successful and he took part in the 1974 World Cup with Haiti for the first time . There he was used against Poland and Argentina .
