Gytis Andrulionis

Gytis Andrulionis (* 1978 in Lazdijai ) is a Lithuanian lawyer and politician , Vice Minister of Culture (since 2017), Deputy Minister of Justice of Lithuania (2009–2012).

Life

After graduating from high school in 1984–1996 at Gustaitis Middle School Lazdijai, Gytis Andrulionis completed a bachelor’s degree at Lietuvos teisės akademija from 1996 to 2000 and a master’s degree (in EU law ) at Lietuvos teisės universitetas in Vilnius from 2000 to 2002 . He then studied in Switzerland , Toronto ( Canada ), New Dell ( India ). In 2006 he did his doctorate at the MRU on the subject of “Personal Autonomy in Health Law ” under the direction of Prof. Saulius Arlauskas in the Chair of Legal Philosophy .

Andrulionis worked in the administration ( Vilnius district ), as an auditor ("auditor") in the Court of Auditors of Lithuania ( Valstybės kontrolė ), was the deputy director of the 5th department. In addition, he taught as a university lecturer at Vilnius University and MRU (subject: health law and economics ). From April 2009 to December 2012 he was Deputy Minister of Justice Remigijus Šimašius , the former colleague of the Department of Legal Philosophy at the MRU. From 2013 to 2014 he was Deputy Director at the Institute for Law . From 2015 to 2017 he was a lawyer . From March 2017 he was advisor to the minister at the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania . Since August 18, 2017, he has been Liana Ruokytė-Jonsson's deputy in the Skvernelis cabinet .
