Häringer home house
The Häringer Heimathaus in Unterthingau , a market in the Swabian district of Ostallgäu ( Bavaria ), was essentially built in the second half of the 18th century. The building at Kemptener Straße 1 is a protected architectural monument .
history
The two-storey saddle roof building with attached business section was changed and expanded around 1830/40.
The community of Unterthingau acquired the building in 2007. In addition to the historic general store, there is a ballroom in the house that is used for civil weddings and events. The barn and the residential building, with paintings from the 19th century, serve as a local museum .
The development association Häringer-Heimathaus received in 2015 listed medal of Bavaria for the exemplary restoration of the monument.
