Héctor Font (born June 15, 1984 in Villarreal ) is a Spanish football player who is currently without a club.

Player career

Villarreal CF

Héctor Font played 2002-2006 for four years for the team of his hometown, the Villarreal . He made his debut in the Primera División on June 15, 2003 in a 2-2 draw away at Espanyol Barcelona . During the 2003/04 season he was loaned to the then Segunda División Club Ciudad de Murcia , which no longer exists.

The following season he appeared in eleven UEFA Cup games , scoring two goals. When his club reached the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League semi-finals , Héctor Font was featured four times.

CA Osasuna

Due to the strong competition at Villarreal FC , Héctor Font left his home club in the summer of 2006 to play more often, but only partially succeeded, as he is mostly a substitute for the team from Pamplona .

Last years

For the 2009/10 season, Font moved from CA Osasuna to Real Valladolid and signed a three-year contract there. A year later he had to join the Segunda División with Valladolid . However, he left the club and joined the club Deportivo Xerez , who also played in the Segunda División.
