The Hôtel de Rosambo is a Hôtel particulier in the 10th arrondissement of Paris . The building, built at the end of the 18th century, is located 62/64 rue René Boulanger . The facade of the Hôtel de Rosambo has been protected as an architectural monument ( Monument historique ) since 1962 . Next to it is the Hôtel de Sechtré .

The nearest metro station is Strasbourg - Saint-Denis on lines 4 , 8 and 9 .

history

The Hôtel de Rosambo was built around 1780 according to the plans of the architect Nicolas-Claude Girardin for the Geneva banker Octave-Pie Giambone and shortly thereafter sold to Louis Le Peletier de Rosambo. The Hôtel particulier is named after this owner. Baron Taylor housed his philanthropic foundations in the building between 1842 and 1879 .

With the construction of Rue Taylor in 1881, the left part of the building was changed. The passage to this street is through an arcade of the house. The facade in the style of the Louis XVI period. has been preserved. A representative balcony with a wrought iron grille is located above the high portal . The middle window is adorned by a triangular pediment .
