HD 50554 is a sun-like star in the constellation Gemini, about 98 light-years away from Earth, with an apparent magnitude of about 6.8 mag. In 2002 Vogt et al. Using the radial velocity method, an exoplanet candidate orbiting this star with a period of 1224  days . The object with the systematic designation HD 50554 b has a minimum mass of around 5 Jupiter's masses. The semi-major axis of the orbit measures approx. 2.3  astronomical units , its eccentricity 0.44.
