The getgoods.de AG was in Frankfurt (Oder) resident e-commerce business undertakings incinerating or the 2011 six online stores, including getgoods.de , a mail order company for computer and electronics products.

Getgoods.de AG and the subsidiary getgoods.de Vertriebs GmbH filed for insolvency proceedings on November 15, 2013 . The subsidiary was bought by Conrad Electronic in December 2013 . In 2014 both locations in Frankfurt (Oder) were given up in favor of the location in Berlin-Schönefeld. Getgoods.de ceased operations at the end of 2015.

history

The getgoods.de online shop was originally a division of HTM Handy-Trends + More GmbH, which was founded in 2007 . Its managing director Markus Rockstädt-Mies worked for the distributor Tech Data before founding HTM GmbH .

Getgoods.de AG came into being when TM Investment GmbH, the sole owner of HTM GmbH, merged with DÜBAG Düsseldorfer Beteiligungen Aktiengesellschaft to form getgoods.de AG .

The medium-sized company gained notoriety through the takeover of the online retailer Home of Hardware (HOH). Its previous owner, the German system house Cancom , took over HOH in 2008, but sold all the shares in 2011 for three million euros in order to concentrate on the higher-margin B2B business.

At the beginning of November 2011, the company opened a new logistics center in Frankfurt (Oder) with a storage area of around 3,000 square meters, which, according to CEO Rockstädt-Mies, offers the potential for a dispatch volume of over 40,000 parcels per day. The investment volume required for this was 1.3 million euros.

In addition to its online activities, HTM GmbH also had a shop belonging to the ElectronicPartner group.

In February 2012, CEO Markus Rockstädt-Mies increased his shares to 22.9% of the share capital. In addition, another 4,250,000 shares are attributable to Rockstädt-Mies via the investment company TM Invest GmbH. Overall, the management now held 72.9% of the share capital, the free float remains unchanged at 27.1%.

On March 27, 2012 getgoods.de was included in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange . At the end of October 2012, a corporate bond at 7.75% p. a. fully placed; According to getgoods.de AG's own information, the issue proceeds of 30 million euros should primarily be used to expand the product range and the warehouse.

According to information from the Bloomberg news agency , getgoods.de AG was in negotiations for a takeover by Metro AG in 2012 .

Economic Turbulence & Bankruptcy

At the beginning of September 2013, getgoods.de AG was downgraded by the Creditreform rating agency from "very satisfactory creditworthiness, low to medium insolvency risk" to "satisfactory creditworthiness, medium insolvency risk". The rating agency named the quality of the accounting and controlling, the structures of which did not grow with the company's growth, as the cause. At the end of October 2013 it became known that the company was in negotiations with Euler Hermes Claims Management GmbH for credit lines. The company's management stated that the reason for the negotiations with Euler Hermes regarding the credit lines was “restructuring in our company” and denied that there were liquidity problems.

On November 14, 2013, the insolvency of getgoods.de AG and getgoods.de Vertriebs GmbH was announced. On November 15, 2013, getgoods.de AG and the sales subsidiary filed for insolvency proceedings - but online trading continued. On November 18, 2013, the business premises and the private apartments of the two managing directors of getgoods.de AG and their sales subsidiary were searched on suspicion of embezzlement . The Brandenburg State Criminal Police Office announced on November 20, 2013 that the evaluation of the secured data would “take some time”.

Conrad Electronic was interested in a takeover of getgoods.de and for this purpose submitted an application to the Federal Cartel Office on November 27, 2013 for the takeover of the main assets. On December 4, 2013, Conrad Electronic then took over the business operations from the insolvent online mail order company getgoods.de. All 190 employees at the Frankfurt (Oder) and Schönefeld near Berlin locations were taken over with reservations. The getgoods.de and hoh.de brands have been retained as independent shops and continued under Get-it-quick GmbH - with its administrative headquarters in Hirschau.

After the inventory of getgoods.de Vertriebs GmbH, Get-it-quick GmbH announced on January 23, 2014 that the two locations in Frankfurt (Oder) will be given up. Contrary to the previously announced intention to continue to employ all 190 employees, only the 65 or so jobs at the Berlin location were retained. In the future, storage and logistics are to be handled by the parent company Conrad or via external partners.

The online shop getgoods.de ceased operations on November 16, 2015.
