The Haddas (also Hadas ) is a periodic river in Eritrea in the Semienawi Kayih Bahri region .

geography

The Haddas has its source in the mountains south of the city of Adi Keyh in the Debub region . It flows north and joins in the milking level with the Alighede . Shortly thereafter, the Saato and Comaile rivers flow . The Haddas finally flows into the Red Sea in a small delta near the town of Zula .

Hydrology

The river only flows a few months a year. Only during the rainy season in the summer months from July to August does it have regular water.

history

There are suspicions that the ruins on Haddas are the ancient trading town of Adulis .
