The Hagg Gill is a short stream in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The Hagg Gill arises on the mountain slopes between the Stony Cove Pike in the north and the Ill Bell in the south.

The Hagg Gill flows south along a former Roman road east of the Troutbeck Tongue and west of the Yoke .

The Hagg Gill flows into the Trout Beck south of the Troutbeck Park settlement .

The upper reaches of the Hagg Gill, together with the Trout Beck and the ridge of the Troutbeck Tongue between them, form the Troutbeck Site of Special Scientific Interest . The peculiarity of the area lies in its vegetation, which consists of an alternation of fern and grassland.
