action

The computer geek Peter hacked into computers and sold the stolen data. When suddenly one day his paranoid girlfriend lies dead in the bathtub, he gets scared. He only escapes with a skateboard and laptop and ends up in Cologne . There he hides in a tenement house. Little by little he finds the house residents' key hiding spots. If the apartment owners are not there, he invades the apartments. At first he only sleeps, eats and shower, later he returns the favor with small things. He helps the writer Schrader (played by Thomas Kapielski ) with his book, and he plays chess with the shift worker Felder ( Sven Pippig ) . Paula suspects her ex-lover is behind the small gestures, but gets involved in the game. She answers the secret admirer by leaving lines of poetry and presents in her apartment. After a while, Peter gathers up all his courage. He enters the apartment while she is at home.

criticism

film-dienst : A meditation recorded with a digital camera in hyper-sharp images on uprooting, abandonment and loneliness, which may appear like an unfinished preliminary study, but is a utopian plan for life.

particularities

At the beginning of the film, the Blinkenlights light installation by the Chaos Computer Club at the teacher's house in Berlin can be seen briefly . The main actor first had to take a computer course for the scenes that show him as a hacker.
