The Halfway Nunatak is a 1268 m high and isolated nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the west side of The Landing firn field and almost in the center of the upper Skelton Glacier . The north, south and east sides of the Nunatak are dominated by the cliffs Norton Crag , Baumann Crag and Schulz Crag .
Measured and descriptively named after its geographical location in the middle of the Skelton Glacier, it was named in 1957 by the New Zealand crew of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958).
