history
The old station building was located about 300 meters south of the current station until the station was moved to its current location in 1959. The Bregenz model railway club is now housed in this station building, which was commissioned in 1949. Until 2007 there was a train station building at the current location of the stop, but it was demolished in the course of modernization.
In 2007, the Riedenburg stop was the first stop in Vorarlberg as part of the ÖBB project "Rheintalkonzept Bregenz - Feldkirch" to meet uniform standards such as accessibility, equipment, waiting areas and the like.
