Hamish Stuart

Hamish Stuart (born October 8, 1949 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish soul musician who is best known as a singer, guitarist and bassist for the Average White Band .

In 1972 he was one of the founding members of the AWB, in which he played until the separation in 1982. In the 1990s he was a member of Paul McCartney's backing band. He can also be heard on records by Aretha Franklin , George Benson , Chaka Khan , David Sanborn , Jim Mullen and the Easy Pieces, among others . 1999 appeared Stuarts solo debut Sooner or Later , on the traditional Soul - radio can be heard. In 2003 the second album Let It Snow followed .
