Hendrikus Cornelis Paulus (Han) Noten (born February 20, 1958 in Swalmen ) is a Dutch politician of the Partij van de Arbeid .
Life
Noten attended Bisschoppelijk College Broekhin in Roermond . From 1978 to 1985 he studied psychology at Radboud University Nijmegen . Noten became a member of the Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA). From November 11, 2003 to June 2011, he was their parliamentary group leader in the First Chamber of the States General . His successor in this office was Marleen Barth .
Since February 1, 2011, Noten has been Mayor of Dalfsen as the successor to Willem Urlings .
