The trade and service association South Tyrol , or hds for short, is an industry association for companies in the autonomous province of Bolzano in the trade , tourism and services ( tertiary sector ) sectors .

history

The association was founded in Bolzano in 1946 with Walther Amonn as President and Carlo de Carli and Attilio Bonelli as Vice-Presidents.

The association represents around 7000 companies across South Tyrol . The head office - and at the same time the seat of the Bozen city and country district - is located in Bozen , further offices can be found in all other districts: in Merano for the district Merano / Burggrafenamt , in Brixen and Sterzing for the district Eisacktal / Wipptal , in Bruneck for the Pustertal and Schlanders for the Vinschgau district .
