Hanery Amman
Hanery Amman (bourgeois Hanspeter Ammann; born November 2, 1952 in Interlaken ; † December 30, 2017 ) was a Swiss musician .
Life
Amman was a co-founder ( piano , keyboard instruments ) of the dialect rock band Rumpelstilz (1971, with Polo Hofer , René Schafer and Küre Güdel). Amman wrote the music for many well-known Swiss dialect songs, such as Rosmarie and I , Teddybär or Alperose . After Rumpelstilz dissolved, he took part in various projects. Among other things for children as Kroki-Loki and Chaltfüür-Unghüür in the cultural radio drama series by Roland Zoss with the Swiss mouse Jimmy Flitz . Hanery was solo for a long time and released various albums. His last was Solitaire , which reached number 90 on the Swiss album charts in July 2000 . The single Déjà Vu reached number 1 on the Swiss airplay charts. Since 2004 he has played again with Polo Hofer and the band "The Alpinistos".
On October 7, 2006, Alperose was voted “ Biggest Swiss Hit ” by the Swiss television audience .
In 2007 Amman was diagnosed and treated for lung cancer. For his 60th birthday he released a new song called Waldgeischt and gave it as a gift to fans for two weeks to download for free. In 2013 he was operated on again. Since then he has given concerts again regularly. At the end of September 2017, his health deteriorated again and Amman had to cancel all planned concerts.
