Hannelore Marschall-Oehmichen

Hannelore Marschall-Oehmichen , née Hannelore Oehmichen , also Hannelore Marshall , (born March 3, 1931 in Osnabrück ; † May 16, 2003 in Augsburg ) was a German puppet carver, voice actress and theater director . In 1943 she was one of the founders of the Augsburger Puppenkiste .

Life

Oehmichen was Ulla Oehmichen's younger sister, both were the daughters of Walter and Rose Oehmichen . In 1943 the Oehmichens founded the Puppet Shrine , which later became the Augsburger Puppenkiste. In 1957 she married the actor and later theater director Hanns-Joachim Marschall , who had been part of the Puppenkiste ensemble since 1951. In 1972 she became director of the theater with her husband. Her sons Klaus (* 1961) and Jürgen (* 1958) continue to run the theater. In her career she carved around 6,000 dolls. She died suddenly in 2003.
