Hannes Lindt (born July 30, 1986 in Cottbus ) is a former German handball player . He was mostly used in the right back space.

Career

Hannes Lindt started playing handball in his hometown at HC Cottbus before joining 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch in 2003 . There he made his debut in the 2nd handball Bundesliga and rose to the first handball Bundesliga in 2005 , but immediately relegated in 2006. In 2007 he then switched to the SC Magdeburg Gladiators . Lindt mostly played for Magdeburg's second team, the SC Magdeburg Youngsters. In summer 2009 he moved to HSG FrankfurtRheinMain , before moving to DHC Rheinland in November 2010 . In the summer of 2011 he joined the TUSEM Essen, with which he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2012. After TUSEM was relegated in 2013, he moved to SG BBM Bietigheim . In January 2015 he returned to Essen. In the 2015/16 season he was under contract with HC Elbflorenz . After another knee injury, he ended his career in the summer of 2017.

Hannes Lindt was European champion in 2006 with the German U21 junior national team and vice-world champion in 2007.

In 2013, Hannes Lindt founded BeTuk with his family and friend Fabian Böhm - a textile label with a foundation. The concept is based on 100% sustainability and organic cotton. The foundation currently supports three projects in the areas of ecology, social work and structural funding in Africa.

Since July 1, 2017, Hannes Lindt has been managing director and sports director at the AGM Grün-Weiß Werder.
