Hannes Loth

Hannes Loth (born June 3, 1981 in Wolfen ) is a German politician ( AfD ) and has been a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since 2016 .

Political career

In 2015 Loth ran for the AfD in the mayoral election in Köthen (Anhalt) and achieved an election result of 2.1 percent (168 votes).

In the state elections in 2016 , Loth entered the state parliament via his party's state list .

Private

During his school years Loth completed an exchange year in the US state of Tennessee and lived there with the family of Republican Congressman David Davis .

Loth initially wanted to become a teacher, studied theology, but then switched to agriculture and was production manager in an agricultural company until his election to the state parliament.

Loth is married and has one child. He lives in Retzau .
