Hanno Ehrler
Hanno Ehrler (born August 17, 1958 in Wiesbaden ) is a German music journalist and alternative practitioner .
biography
Hanno Ehrler studied musicology , art history and ethnology in Mainz and received his doctorate in 1989 with a thesis on the Groupe de Six. From 1981 to 1986 he worked as a lecturer for contemporary music at the Breitkopf & Härtel publishing house . From 1989 on he worked as a freelance journalist for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , various music magazines ( Neue Zeitschrift für Musik , MusikTexte ) and the broadcasting corporations of the ARD , especially for the editorial team of Neue Musik at Deutschlandfunk Köln. In addition to contemporary music, other work focuses on alternative medicine and photography .
In 2000 he was a lecturer at the international summer courses for new music in Darmstadt . From 2003 to 2007 he completed training as a naturopath and osteopath at the International Academy of Osteopathy (IAO). In addition to his journalistic activities, he has been working in his own practice in Bochum since 2007 . In 2008 he founded the HEB Heilpraktikerschule Bochum.
Hanno Ehrler is a grandson of Fritz Ehrler , president of the Wiesbaden administrative district from 1925 to 1933.
