Hans-Dieter Mangold (born June 22, 1962 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Mangold came from the DSC Wanne-Eickel . After moving to FC Schalke 04 , he made two appearances in the Bundesliga there . In the 1980/81 season he played two games under coach Fahrudin Jusufi . The attacker made his debut in the 5-1 defeat by Bayern Munich when he came on for Wolfram Wuttke in the 79th minute .
After the relegation of Schalke to the 2nd Bundesliga , Mangold left the club. He later played for Wuppertaler SV and SpVgg Erkenschwick .
