Hans-Georg Sannert (born August 7, 1941 in Leipzig ), also known by the nickname Schorsch , is a former German football player who mainly played in midfield .

Life

After the Sannert family was bombed out , they moved to Borsdorf in 1943 , where the young Hans-Georg grew up. He returned to Leipzig in 1952.

Sannert began his club career in the junior division of SC Lokomotive Leipzig , where he was part of the junior team that became East German champions in 1958 . After serving in the army , during which he played for ASK Vorwärts Leipzig , Sannert returned to SC Lokomotive after completing his military service , where he was part of the Oberliga team from 1961 .

When players were assigned to one of the two newly created Leipzig clubs in 1963 , Richter was delegated to the BSG Chemie Leipzig . The so-called “rest of Leipzig” surprisingly won the GDR football championship in the 1963/64 season . Sannert was used in nine of the total of 26 point games and scored his only goal on January 18, 1964 at the start of the second half in Aue . But his early goal for the 1: 2 goal in the 30th minute could not prevent the defeat of his team at BSG Wismut Aue because there was no further goal in the remaining 60 minutes.

Two years later, Sannert also won the FDGB Cup with the chemists , but he said goodbye to the district division Chemie Böhlen in 1967 because the career prospects in the local chemical combine " Otto Grotewohl " seemed better to him than at Elguwa, the supporting company of BSG Chemie Leipzig. ("You couldn't make any serious money with football, so I always thought about later first.")

After Sannert had withdrawn from the first team in 1972 in order to have more time for his main job, he played in the second team of Chemie Böhlen until 1978 and stayed with the combine "Otto Grotewohl" Böhlen until 1989 .
