Hans-Jürgen Kaesler

Hans-Jürgen Kaesler (* 1942 in Görlitz ) is a German lawyer and politician ( FDP ).

Life

Kaesler studied psychology as well as law and political science at the universities in Bonn and Cologne . From 1990 to 1991 the FDP member was State Secretary in the Ministry for Federal and European Affairs of the State of Saxony-Anhalt . After the resignation of Minister Gerd Brunner , he took over his cabinet post on September 12, 1991 in that of Prime Minister Werner Münchled government. Although Kaesler was initially able to dispel all allegations in connection with the so-called "salaries affair" - Münch and some cabinet members were suspected of having received inadmissibly high salaries with manipulated data - he was dismissed on December 2, 1993 by Münch's successor Christoph Bergner .

In 1994 Kaesler founded the law firm Kaesler & Kollegen together with the former State Secretary Klaus-Günter Schaper in Berlin . His main task as a lawyer is advising companies. He is also a member of the German-Bulgarian Forum and the German-Azerbaijani Forum.
