Hans-Karl Rudolf von Winterfeldt
Hans-Karl Rudolf von Winterfeldt (born August 9, 1863 in Düsseldorf , † January 11, 1949 in Melle ) was a royal Prussian colonel .
Life
Von Winterfeldt was born the son of the Prussian officer and landscape painter Friedrich Wilhelm von Winterfeldt (1830-1893) and his wife Johanna, nee Freiin von und zu Egloffstein (1843-?). His father was an officer in the Prussian cavalry from 1850 to 1853 and from 1853 a private student of the landscape painter Hans Fredrik Gude . Among other things, he painted paintings of the Chiemsee or the island of Mainau and Lake Constance . Von Winterfeldt had been married to Luise, née Ziegler from Mannheim (1870–1962), since November 15, 1890, with whom he had children Hans Wolf (1892–1972), Anna Marie Luise (1894–1934) and Elisabeth Johanna Dorothea ( 1899–1976).
