Hans-Lukas Kieser

Hans-Lukas Kieser (* 1957 ) is a Swiss historian . His research focuses on the late Ottoman Empire as well as the history of Turkey and its relations with Europe and Switzerland. Kieser is adjunct professor for modern history, especially of the Ottoman and post-Ottoman world at the University of Zurich . He is a member of the Foundation Research Center Switzerland-Turkey (SFST) based in Basel .
