The Hans-Paulas-Park is a 10,200 m² park in the Kaiserebersdorf district . The park is located next to the Kaiserebersdorf Palace , which now houses the Vienna-Simmering prison , at the intersection of Kaiser-Ebersdorfer Strasse and Zinnergasse. Nowadays, in addition to meadows and an old tree population, the park has walking paths and numerous seating options, a toddler, children and youth playground with sand and water areas, a football field , a drinking fountain and a dog area .

Hans-Paulas-Park was named on October 18, 1990 by the City Council Committee of the City of Vienna after the Simmering District Council (1950–1968), City Council (1968–1973) and District Chairman of Simmering (1973–1980) Hans Paulas ( SPÖ ) (1913– 1988), redesigned from 2003 to 2004 for 400,000 euros and reopened on April 23, 2004 in the presence of Environment City Councilor Isabella Kossina and District President Renate Angerer .
