Hans Paulas
Hans Paulas , actually Johann Paulas , (born June 30, 1913 in Vienna ; † July 28, 1988 there ) was an Austrian politician of the SPÖ .
Life
Johann Paulas grew up in the 11th district of Simmering in Vienna . After graduating from high school, he took over his parents' restaurant business at Kopalgasse 61 and passed the cellar master and hotel manager exams. In 1934 its operation was closed. After the Second World War he repaired the war damage, rebuilt the business and then decided to go into politics. In 1949 he became district councilor in Simmering, after which he worked from January 26, 1968 to July 3, 1973 as a local councilor and member of the state parliament in Vienna . On July 4, 1973 he became district chairman of Simmering. He held this office until September 9, 1980. On August 10, 1988, Paulas was buried in the Simmering fire hall (Section 1, Ring 2, Group 3, No. 40); the grave insists on the duration of the cemetery.

- On October 31, 1985 Paula was the Golden Badge of Honor for Services to the Province of Vienna awarded

- Awarded the honorary title of Commercial Councilor
- On January 18, 1990, the Hans-Paulas-Park was named after him.
- On July 31, 1996, Paulasgasse am Leberberg in Simmering was named after him.
