Hans-Ulrich Schulz (athlete)
Hans-Ulrich Schulz (born May 24, 1939 in Berlin ; † August 22, 2012 in Sundhagen ) was a German sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
Discovered and promoted at the University Sports Association (HSG) "Wissenschaft" Greifswald in the early 1960s , he subsequently moved to SC Dynamo Berlin .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was fifth in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
With SC Dynamo Berlin, he became GDR champion in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 1964 .
He set his personal best of 46.6 s on August 9, 1964 in Berlin .
