Hans-Ulrich Stauffer

Hans-Ulrich Stauffer (* 1951 ) is a Swiss lawyer. He is Honorary Consul of the Cape Verde Islands and Managing Director of the Abendrot Foundation pension fund .

Life

After studying law at the University of Basel , he received his doctorate in 1979 on the subject of unemployment insurance . In 1980 he passed his bar exam in the canton of Basel-Stadt , with his own law firm the following year. In 1984 Stauffer founded the Abendrot Foundation. He published over thirty-four books, including a standard work on company pension schemes in Switzerland.

Stauffer is married and father of two daughters.
