Hans Andreas

Hans Andreas (born September 17, 1912 in Oldisleben , † May 16, 1982 in Leipzig ) was a German medic .

Life

Hans Andreas was born on September 17, 1912 in Oldisleben and began studying medicine at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena in 1931 . In 1938 he was with the dissertation The erythrocyte sedimentation rate in terms of gynecological tumors (neoplasms) for Dr. med. PhD .

From 1948 he worked at the state women's clinic in Erfurt . In 1956 he completed his habilitation at the Medical Academy Erfurt with the habilitation thesis Radiation Intensity Investigations in Gynecological Radium Treatment for the subject of gynecology . In 1958 he left Erfurt and became a lecturer at the University of Leipzig . In 1959 he became a senior physician at the university's women's clinic and deputy medical director. The university promoted him to professor in 1960 , in 1962 he left the university clinic and became chief physician at the Leipzig State Women's Clinic.

In the retirement Andreas joined in 1977 and died on 16 May 1982 at the age of 69 years in Leipzig.
