Hans Aregger

Hans Aregger (born September 14, 1930 in Horw ) is a Swiss composer , conductor, clarinet and saxophone player from Horw in the canton of Lucerne . He is a trained carpenter . From 1946 he played in the field music Horw, which also financed his music lessons.

Life

Thanks to his future wife, the yodeler Liny Schiess, he became familiar with yodelling music. Especially between 1966 and 1981 they performed as a yodel duet. In 1974 Hans Aregger took over the management of the Berner Jodler Luzern. He took music notation lessons from the composers Hans Walter Schneller and Paul Müller-Egger and composed yodelling songs himself.

Hans Aregger is known for his Ländlerkapelle of the same name , which has cultivated the concert style of Central Switzerland for many years. He composed more than 300 melodies. Its evergreens are

  • the Länders Hans in form , in which he plays with the clarinet, the soprano saxophone and the E-flat alto saxophone.

He still practices his carpenter's profession as a hobby. His main occupation is also a conductor and music publisher.
