Hans Burkhard von Anweil
Hans Burkhard von Anweil (* around 1531 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † February 10, 1593 in Tübingen ) was a German nobleman, ducal councilor established in Württemberg , as well as Obervogt von Herrenberg and assessor at the ducal court in Tübingen .
Life
Hans Burkhard von Anweil comes from the Thurgau knight family von Anweil . He was the eldest son of the Freiburg mayor and later bailiff Hans Albrecht von Anweil and his wife Anna Agathe née Stürtzel von Buchheim. He was resident in Württemberg since 1563 at the latest . During his training, he also spent a long time in Paris , where he studied languages and law. Under Duke Ulrich he was his councilor from 1563. Under Duke Ludwig , he was Obervogt von Herrenberg from 1576 and at the same time assessor of the Württemberg court (the highest ducal court) in Tübingen. He held these offices until his death.
Hans Burkhard von Anweil married Anna Schilling von Cannstatt in 1566 , who died in the early 1580s. Around 1585 he married Katharina von Stockheim. From his first marriage he had two daughters. The second marriage was childless.
