Hans Eveslage (born January 21, 1947 in Quakenbrück ) is a German teacher and politician ( CDU ). He was from 2001 to 2014 full-time district administrator of the district Cloppenburg .

Eveslage attended elementary school in Bevern and from 1957 switched to the Clemens-August-Gymnasium in Cloppenburg . He passed his Abitur in 1966. After graduating from school, he began studying pedagogy and history in Vechta at the Lower Saxony University of Education. Since 1969 he has worked as a teacher and employee in teacher training. In 1975 he became the headmaster. From 1978 until his election as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in 1986, he was rector of the Barßel elementary school .

Eveslage was a member of the Junge Union between 1965 and 1980. In 1972 he became a member of the CDU. He was a member of the CDU state board in Oldenburg and the board of the CDU in Lower Saxony. Eveslage became chairman of the foundation board of trustees “Lower Saxony Open Air Museum - Museumsdorf Cloppenburg” and senator of the Lower Saxony foundation. In 1987 he became President of the Lower Saxony Association of Towns and Municipalities and Vice President of the German Association of Towns and Municipalities. He was also a member of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union.

Eveslage became councilor of the Barßel ​​community for the first time in 1972 and was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from 1972 to 1976. Between 1976 and 1994 he was elected mayor of the municipality of Barßel. Between 1981 and 1985 he was a member of the district council of the Cloppenburg district and a member of the district committee. From 2001 to 2014 he was the district administrator of the district of Cloppenburg.

Eveslage was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1986 until he left after his election to the district administrator in 2001. He was deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from February 6, 1991 to June 20, 1994. He was also chairman of the committee for environmental issues from June 27, 1990 to January 16, 1991.

For reasons of age, he did not run again for the district election on May 25, 2014. Johann Wimberg was elected as his successor .

He is a member of the Catholic student union K.St.V. Wittekind Vechta in KV .
