Hans Fink (folklorist)
Hans Fink (born October 24, 1912 in Brixen ; † April 12, 2003 in South Tyrol ) was an folklorist , dialect poet , radio journalist and innkeeper.
Life
Hans Fink came from a family from Ritten , learned the trade of master butcher and was also an innkeeper. In 1943 he published an article on " Peter Mayr , Wirt an der Mahr". He also wrote sporadic articles for the National Socialist Bozner Tagblatt in 1943/45 . "Von Palbit bis zur Thinne", "Die Mühlbacher Klause ", "Das Dorf an der Sade" and others followed. He was drafted into the Wehrmacht and was taken prisoner. From 1953 he intensified his research into the history and folklore of South Tyrol, was the editor of legends and folk tales and published dialect poems. In 1955 he discovered the menhir from Tötschling am Pfeffersberg near Brixen. From 1961 he worked at the Bolzano station , for which he designed numerous radio programs.
