Hans Fleischmann (born May 11, 1898 , † December 28, 1978 in Heppenheim ) was a German football player .

Career

societies

Fleischmann began playing football at the Mannheim football club in 1908 Lindenhof when he was ten and moved up to the first team in 1918, for which he was active in the regional second division until the end of the 1920/21 season.

After he was promoted with his team for the 1921/22 season in the Odenwald district league in the Rhine district, as one of five districts organized by the South German Football Association , he emerged as the winner of Division I. To determine the district champion, his club played against VfR Mannheim , the winner of Division II. After the first leg ended goalless on March 5, 1922, VfR Mannheim won the second leg on March 12, 1922 3-2 and thus took in the final round of the South German Championship .

From 1922 to 1924 he played for FC Phönix Ludwigshafen in the Pfalz regional league , then in the Rhine regional league . After he emerged with the team as the winner of the District League Palatinate, both final games of the District Championship Rhine against the winner of the District League Odenwald, Phoenix Mannheim , were won 4-1 and 3-1. Whether he was successful, he and the team took part in the final round of the South German Championship , which they finished in second place.

Moved to city rivals VfR Mannheim , he played for them - now as a defender - from 1924 to 1933 , from the 1927/28 season in the Rhein group, in the Rhein / Saar district league . His last season he played in the Gauliga Baden in one of 16, later on 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Empire . He ended his active football career as runner-up , one point behind the Gaumeister SV Waldhof Mannheim .
