Hans H. Gattermann

Hans-Hermann Gattermann (born December 24, 1931 in Dortmund ; † January 27, 1994 there ) was a German lawyer and politician ( FDP ).

Life and work

After graduating from the Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Dortmund in 1953, Gattermann studied law and political science at the universities in Marburg and Berlin . He completed his legal clerkship in 1957 at the Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt am Main and passed his second state examination in 1961 in Düsseldorf . Since 1961 he worked as a lawyer and notary in Dortmund. He died of heart failure on January 27, 1994.

Political party

Gattermann joined the FDP in 1967 and was later treasurer of the FDP state association in North Rhine-Westphalia .

MP

Gattermann was from 1975 to 1979 council member of the city of Dortmund and chairman of the FDP parliamentary group there. In the 1976 federal election, he was elected to the German Bundestag via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia , to which he belonged until his death. Here he was chairman of the finance committee since 1983. In 1990 he played a key role in drafting the tax reform .
