Hans Helmut Straub

Hans Helmut Straub (born February 13, 1941 in Lähn in the Riesengebirge , Silesia ) is a German actor .

Live and act

Hans Helmut Straub spent his childhood in Passau until his family moved to Munich . There he took acting lessons from Ado Riegler .
His first engagement took him to Neuwied at the Rhineland-Palatinate State Theater . Further stations were the Landestheater Tübingen , the Theater Freiburg and the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern .

From 1985 until his retirement in 2006, Straub was a member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Konstanz . There he could be seen among others as Brother Eichmann , Kreon, Bockerer , King Lear , Nathan and Shylock ; and he still performs guest roles.

During his engagement in Konstanz, Hans Helmut Straub also dealt with puppet theater . Several of his own pieces were created along with the puppets used in the performance.

Awards

In 2007, Hans Helmut Straub was honored for his role as teacher Klohse in the stage version of Günter Grass ' novella Katz und Maus together with Michael Kientzle , David Benito Garcia , Georg Melich and Jana Alexia Rödiger at the “ Young Actors Week ” in Bensheim .
