Ado Riegler (born July 25, 1906 in Wiesbaden ; † January 20, 1988 ) was a German actor .

Life

Riegler completed an acting training in Munich , where he also made his debut as an actor. After the Second World War , he was one of the first speakers in Munich for Radio Munich , which later became Bayerischer Rundfunk .

Riegler played numerous roles in movies from the 1950s . He was also seen in numerous television productions in Austria and Germany . Riegler was almost exclusively used as a character actor , often in prominent supporting roles.

In 1956 he interpreted the role of Pascha Mehmed in a complete radio recording of the operetta Die Rose von Stambul with the Munich Radio Orchestra under the musical direction of Werner Schmidt-Boelcke .

Riegler also worked intensively as an acting teacher. His students included actors Christiane Blumhoff , Renate Koehler and Frithjof Vierock .

Ado Riegler was married to the actress Martina Eginhart .
