Hans König (politician, 1947)

Hans König (born June 22, 1947 ) is an Austrian civil servant , Viennese local politician and writer .

Before he unabgeschlossenem 1971 after studying at the University of Vienna in the Culture Department of the City of Vienna entered, he developed a co-founder of the District Museum Leopoldstadt lively cultural and political activities. As District Councilor of Leopoldstadt (1978–1983), as a member of the Vienna City Council and State Parliament (1983–1995) and in various other functions, he founded numerous social and cultural initiatives, including a. “ Aktion Mensch ” (1986; same name, but not identical to the German social organization ZDF founded in 1964), “1. Leopoldstädter Renitenztheater ”(1990; same name, but not identical to the cabaret theater founded in Stuttgart in 1961) and“ Literatur im November ”(1990). As a victim, he served as President of the European Kidney Patients Association CEAPIR from 1990 to 1995.

Retired in 1995, he moved to Tenerife for health reasons , where from then on he devoted himself to his special interest, history. In 2006 he was accepted into the Royal Economic Society of the Friends of Tenerife ( Real Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País de Tenerife ), and in 2008 in their Junta del gobierno.
