Hans Kahlert

Hans Kahlert (born May 16, 1934 in Riga , Latvia ) is a German actor .

Life

Hans Kahlert was born in the Latvian capital Riga as the son of a picture frame manufacturer. One of his ancestors was the art glazier Adolf Kahlert, whose windows still adorn the Riga Cathedral today.

Due to the turmoil of the Second World War , Kahlert came to relatives near Hanover via the Friedland reception camp in 1945. From 1955 he took private acting lessons without the knowledge of his parents and received his first engagement in Nathan der Weise from GE Lessing at the Summer Games in Dinkelsbühl . Further stages of his stage career included Recklinghausen, Hanover, Bad Godesberg and Hamburg, where he was seen at many renowned theaters such as the Deutsches Schauspielhaus , the Theater im Zimmer or the Altonaer Theater .

In addition, Hans Kahlert was under contract from 1983 to 1995 at the Karl May Festival in Elspe, mostly in comic roles such as the cantor Hampel or Sir David Lindsay. It was Pierre Brice who brought Kahlert to the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg in 1999.

Since 1965, Hans Kahlert has stood and still is in front of the camera, for example in several episodes of the Tatort series and in the Großstadtrevier , where he has so far been seen in seven different episodes (and roles). Kahlert is also known to a wide audience in the role of the odd, meanwhile 106-year-old "Onkel Krischan" in the NDR cult series Neues aus Büttenwarder .

In radio plays, you can see Hans Kahlert as Pyradonis in Asterix and Cleopatra on the Europa label .

Hans Kahlert is married with one son and lives in Hamburg with his wife, Eva, whom he met in Hanover in 1960.
