Hans Kohlmann

Hans Kohlmann (born July 11, 1934 in Großbuchfeld ; † August 5, 1980 near Lienz ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Kohlmann passed his Abitur at a humanistic grammar school. He did an agricultural apprenticeship with an assistant examination, studied agricultural sciences at the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan and thereby became a qualified agricultural engineer. Then he was a trainee lawyer, passed the state examination and worked as a teacher and consultant at the Office for Agriculture in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . From 1970 to 1978 he was section head at the Bavarian State Institute for Natural Resources and Life Sciences, and in 1973 he became government director.

Kohlmann, who joined the CSU in 1966, was a member of the party's local and district executive committee. He was parliamentary group leader of the CSU in the Pfaffenhofen district council and was deputy district administrator from 1975. In 1978 he was elected to the Bavarian state parliament. In 1979 he became chairman of the CSU district association.

Hans Kohlmann died on August 5, 1980 near Lienz in East Tyrol when he was going on vacation. His successor in the state parliament was Konrad Breitrainer .
